Paperback series
Editors and researchers are working alongside local volunteers in ten counties to create a series of new books. Over the next 4 years, we’ll be publishing 15 paperbacks covering a variety of themes, but focusing on places and people.
The series is characterised by well-illustrated narrative and text boxes, based on the high standards of documentary research and fieldwork expected from the VCH. The paperbacks are published by Phillimore & Co Ltd, the leading specialist publisher of British local and family history.
Together with an interactive website, the paperbacks will provide an insight into the way history is investigated and help inspire people to do their own research.
