Local communities are directly engaged in documentary research, fieldwork and helping to run the project
What is in it for you?
You can pick up skills such as photography, palaeography, basic Latin and building survey, with training and guidance from professional historians. There’s the opportunity to create oral history recordings and web resources. Or simply find an outlet to immerse yourself in a specific interest.
How does it work?
Each county has at least one particular project they are working onand each project has several milestones they need to achieve during the project lifetime.
