Heritage Lottery Fund
Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) has awarded the Victoria County History a grant of £3,374,000 for the England’s Past for Everyone project, which is matched by £1,854,750 from other partners.
HLF enables communities to celebrate, look after and learn more about our diverse heritage. From museums and historic buildings to parks and nature reserves to celebrating traditions, customs and history, the HLF has awarded over £3 billion to projects that open up our nation’s heritage for everyone to enjoy.
HLF is administered by the Trustees of the National Heritage Memorial Fund (NHMF) which allocates around £5 million per annum to our national heritage, acting as a fund of ‘last resort’.
