Nick Hall - Project AdministratorNick works as the project administrator. He provides general support to the EPE team as well as working closely with the Education and Skills Manager and the Communications Manager on events and promotion and evaluation of the school projects. Nick also works part-time at the Campaign for Science and Engineering (CaSE). Prior to joining EPE, Nick worked as a researcher in the Houses of Parliament. He has an MA (Hons) in Russian Politics from the School of Slavonic and East European Studies and a BA (Hons) in History from the University of Warwick. |

Dima Nemchenko - Web ManagerDima has an extensive background in private-sector web sites, including over five years working on GoAhead Group transportation sites, and two years at Saatchi & Saatchi X as a Development Team Leader. He joins us after a successful stint as Senior Technical Consultant for an up-and-coming web agency in Hammersmith, and is enthusiastic and keen to apply his experience to the EPE project. | |
Elizabeth Williamson - Architectural EditorElizabeth Williamson is a Reader in Architectural History and Architectural Editor of the Victoria County History , one of the Research Centres of the IHR. She was previously Deputy Editor of The Buildings of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Through her research for that series and her work with VCH county editors since 1997, she has developed a wide understanding from physical and documentary evidence of the development of the British built environment in a wide range of localities. She has a particular interest in 20th century architecture and planning and in the ideas that have shaped successive generations of English New Towns. |

Jessica Davies – Publications ManagerJessica Davies is the Publications Manager for both Victoria County History at the IHR and the current EPE project. Jessica is responsible for the delivery of all VCH and EPE publications, including our books and online resources. This involves managing the editorial process (the workflow and schedules), compiling and editing content and monitoring the appearance and quality of all published outputs. Prior to joining the University of London, she has worked in various project administration roles within both the public and private sector. A Classics graduate, Jessica holds a BA (Hons) from the University of Leeds and a PGCE from the Institute of Education (University of London). |

Sarah Byrne - Production AssistantSarah is Production Assistant for the EPE project and assists in the delivery of the EPE paperbacks by carrying out image research and checking that all the illustrative material and text is ready for publication. Recently graduated from UCL with a PhD in Pacific archaeology, she has worked as a field archaeologist on multi-period sites in Ireland, England, Australia and the Pacific. She also has worked closely with ethnographic collections and has a particular interest in the relationship between heritage initiatives and community groups and therefore is committed to the ethos of the EPE project. |

Matthew Bristow - Historic Environment Research ManagerMatthew joins the project from Vintec Environmental Management after an 18 month spell as a Senior Analyst. A history and archaeology graduate from The University of Leicester, with an MA in Landscape Studies, Matthew specialises in standing buildings archaeology. His research interests include industrial buildings and church architecture. |

Mel Hackett - Communications ManagerMel is responsible for devising and implementing the EPE Communications and Marketing Strategy. Her role includes planning publicity campaigns, events management, designing promotional material and editing our website. Mel is currently studying with the Chartered Institute of Marketing. She previously worked in government communications. | |
Nafisa Gaffar - Finance and Contracts OfficerNafisa Gaffar worked most recently at Parents for Inclusion as Finance Assistant and prior to that as an Administration Officer at the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority in the Statistics and Research team. Nafisa is studying for her chartered accountancy qualification, enjoys reading history and visits the theatre and cinemas regularly. | |
Skye Dillon - Education and Skills ManagerSkye manages EPE's school, outreach and volunteer projects. She also coordinates and contributes to the development of Schools Learning Zone . Skye joined EPE from the Centre for Sustainable Heritage, University College London, and has also worked as a supply teacher in London. Skye has been a volunteer at The British Museum since 2004 - originally assisting as a hands-on interpreter, she is now involved in the museum's family programme. A History and Political Science graduate, Skye has a BSocSc Honours cum laude (Heritage Studies) and a PGCE from University of Natal, South Africa. | |
