Our Publications
In Derbyshire, there are two EPE projects each resulting in a paperback book, interactive website, and learning materials for schools.
The Bolsover: Castle, Town and Colliery book provides a narrative account of the parish of Bolsover from the earliest times to the present day. The story unfolds from the pre-Conquest settlement through the medieval town and castle, the mining town and lastly the post-industrial town of today.
The second book Hardwick Hall: a Great House and its Estate was published in October 2009. This book is a must for all those interested in finding out more about the social and physical history of this great hall and its surrounding villages. It will be launched on 03 December 2009 at Hardwick Hall in Derbyshire. Email events@epe.org.uk if you are interested in attending this event.
